Box 1352 <br />MINED LAND <br />RECLAMATION DIVISION <br />Palisade, CO 81526 <br />RE: Hubbard Creek Culvert for Blue Ribbon Mine <br />Dear Mr. Stover: <br />Per our previous conversations, you are aware that Mr. Gifford <br />Allen has contacted Raiser Coal concerning the Blue Ribbon Mine. <br />The attached letter is from Mr. Allen requesting that the <br />culvert on Aubbard Creek be left in place to provide access for <br />grazing. Raiser requests that Blue Ribbon consider leaving the <br />culvert in place for Mr. Allen. It is our understanding that <br />the original 1956 warranty deed between the Allens and U.S. <br />Steel allowed the Allens grazing rights. This request appears <br />to be consistent with the post mining land use of grazing and. <br />wild life habitat. <br />We appreciate your consideration in this matter.
