No other materials were used on this area. <br />Success today looks to be about 75%. <br />1995 <br />1.62 acres just to the south of the 6.11 acres :Shot rock over burden materials were hauled to this <br />area contoured almost flat and drill seeded in the spring of 1995. No Fertilizers or soil additives <br />were used on this area. Success today looks to be about 40% to 45%. Will look at this area next <br />spring. <br />Note: 50 sapling pinion pine trees and 50 sapling evergreen trees were plant in this area in the spring <br />of 1995. Success today none of the pinion pine trees survived and only 15 of the evergreen trees are <br />are still growing. = 15% success rate. <br />3.66 acres north of the south road cut and west of the Carbondale equipment: Shot rock over <br />burden materials were hauled to this area and contoured to the west. Beet dirt was hauled to this <br />area and spread over the top at a average depth of 2" to 6". This area was drill seeded and <br />crimped with s hay mulch is the tell of 1995. No Fertilizers or other soil additives were use on this <br />area Success today looks to about 70 to 75%. <br />1997 <br />.72 acres just to the south of the 1.62 acres seeded in 1995: Shot rock over burden materials were <br />hauled to this area and contoured sloping to the east. Topsoil mixed with beet dirt was spread across <br />the top of this area at a average depth of 2" to 6". This area was drill seeded in the spring of 1997. <br />No fertilizer or soil additives were used on this area. Success today looks to be about 50% to 60%. <br />1998 <br />.16 acres just south of the north boundary line of the Owl Canyon quarry seeded in 1998: <br />Shot rock over burden roa[erials were hauled to this area and contoured sloping to the east. Beet dirt <br />was spread across the top of this area at a averege depth of 2^ to 6" and drill seeded in the spring <br />of 1998 . No fertilizers or soil additives were used on this area. Success today is too early to tell. A lot of <br />weeds have grown in this area and will be sprayed to control them for next years growth. <br />
