Walther
Enecurive Dueaor
Michael R. Long
Division Director
This Office has reviewed your request for a Technical Revision (TR) of the above mentioned site
permit. The following three items have been approved and will become part of the current permit:
1) The use of the already affected area of this site delineated on the supplied map for storage of topsoils
and processing for the adjoining new BLM #1 Pit, M-2001-100. ff United decides to use more of the
Hall Pit area beyond that described or change the use of the area an additional TR will be required.
2) The use of the existing access road and truck scale during the life of the BLM #1 Pit. The bond for
the Hall Pit reflects the cost o1'removal of these items and will remain with the Hall Permit unless an
amendment to include them in the BLM #1 is applied for.
3) The 30 foot buffer zone along the south edge of the Hall permit boundazy is removed to allow for a
continuos pit floor. Reclamation of this azea will have to match that of the rest of the pit floor.
This TR does not significantly change the bond calculations done in Mazch of 2001. Therefore no
additional or reduction in the bond is required.
If you need additional information, please contact me at the Division of Minerals and Geology, Grand
Junction Field Office, 101 S. 3rd St., Suite 301, Grand Junction, Colorado 81501, telephone no.
970.241.1117.
Singgc~~erely~, ~~ ~~ %~J~
G.
