All topsoil (growth medium) stockpiles, that will be in place for over one season, must be <br />graded to slopes of 3:1 or flatter and seeded to protect them from erosion. <br />3. Please indicate if the final pit will retain water or if water will rapidly infiltrate into the ground. <br />4. Please use adequate contour lines on the reclamation map to show the proposed pit final <br />configuration. <br />OTHER PERMITS <br />1. It appears that the USFS Special Use Permit for this site has expired. Also, a new Special Use <br />Permit may be required for the expanded operation. Please provide a current USFS Special Use <br />Permit far this site, or document that the current permit is still applicable to the proposed, larger <br />permit area. <br />LEGAL RIGHT TO ENTER <br />1 . The document provided, to demonstrate right-to-enter, shows an expiration date of August 19, <br />1979. Please provide documentation of current right-to-enter. <br />ADDITIONAL COMMENTS <br />Please be aware that Mineral county will need to request release from reclamation liability for <br />the portion of the current permit area which lies outside the proposed permit boundary. Release <br />of this area will need to be conducted as per the requirements of Rule 4.1 6. <br />Mineral County may apply for that release at any time.
