The current plan contemplated the site to be
reclaimed as two (2} clay lined storage reservoirs. However, the cost associated with the
lining of the west portion of the site known as the surchazge reservoir, will prove to be
more costly than other methods of reclamation. At this time it is contemplated to reclaim
the area as rangeland or agricultural land. The site will be mined as planned.
Reclamation of the area will require additional fill material to be utilized to reclaim the
mined area to a minimum elevation of two (2) feet above the ground water level. The
reclaimed area will be vegetated to rangeland or agricultural state.
This change in the reclamation plan will also impact the cost associated to reclaim the
site. The financial warranty for this site should be reduced based on the new reclamation
cost estimates as attached.
I have also enclosed a check in the amount $188.00 for the technical revision fee.
Thank you for you consideration in this matter, if you need additional information or
clarification please feel free to call me at 970-686-5828.
Ver t y yours, G.~CE~~ /"" lQ
Thomas D.
