If, in its operations, the holder discovers any cultural remains, monuments or sites, or any object of antiquity subject to the Antiquities Act of ,Tune A, 1906 (34 Skat_ 225; 16 U. 5. C_ secs. 431-433), The Archaeological Resources Protection Act of 1979 (Public Law 96-95), and 43 CPR, Part 3, the holder shall immediately cease activity and report directly to the AYea Manager. The Bureau shall then take such actions as required under the acts and regulations thereunder. The holder shall follow the mitigation requirements set forth by HLM concerning protection, preservation or disposition of any sites or material discovered. In cosec where salvage excavation is necessary, the cost of such excavation shall be home by the holder, unless otherwise stated. 2.) In order to protect importan[ seasonal wildlife habitat (mule deer), exploration, drilling, and other development activity may not be allowed for up to sixty (60) days during the period from December 1 through March 31. ESCCeptions to this limitation in any year may be specifically authorized in writing by the Area Manager, Bureau OE Land Management. 3.) In order to protect important seasonal wildlife habitat (raptor buffer zones) development activity may not be allowed during the period of March 1 - July 3i for holes I~,.,,:,,,{~ 210111-5, 21013-19, 21014-25, and 21014-26.
