Staff said the <br />proposed site is located northwest of the new airport. <br />On July 2, 1992 the Division held an informal conference, regarding <br />this matter, and three issues remain unresolved. Mr. Fraik Johnson, <br />Assistant Attorney General, recommended that a Pre-hearing Conference <br />Officer be appointed. He said he would contact the City of Aurora's <br />representative, in an attempt to resolve the outstanding issues prior <br />to the need to schedule a Pre- hearing Conference. _ _ <br />It was MOVED that Board Member Stewart be appointed as Pre-hearing <br />Conference Officer to hear the objections in the matter, if necessary. <br />SECONDED AND PASSED UNANIMOUSLY (Kraeger-Rovey, Cooley, Stewart, <br />Danielson, Danni and McCannon). <br />Staff Presentation by James C. RULE-MAKING <br />Colorado Mine Subsidence Protection Program <br />Amendment of Rule 8. <br />Staff said that in late 1991 the legislative Legal Services Committee <br />("Committee") reviewed rules from the Coal Program and the Mine <br />Subsidence Protection Program. As a result of that review, the <br />Committee decided not to extend some of the rules. Staff explained <br />that for rules to remain in effect, they must be extended by the <br />Legislature on a yearly basis, with the exception of those that are <br />specifically excluded from extension. <br />
