We have also referenced embankment protection in the enclosed Attachment 13-1 $, Sedimentation Pond 011A Stability Analyrir. 6. Drawing 13-SB rhowr a 3-inch dewatering orifice on the principal rpi!lway, however, this it not accounted for in the SEDCAD run. If appropriate, pleare remove the dewatering orifice from the derign drawing. Response: Exhibit 13-5B has been revised to delete reference to the 3-inch orifice. Please add a dircurrion of Pond O11A to the Sedimentatoon Ponds section of Tab 13-Facilities. At a minimum this section rhoukl be updated an pager 4 and 11 of Tab 13to inrorporate Pond 011A into the Sedimentation Pond section. Response: Discussion of Pond 011A has been added as requested. $. Response: This update has been made and a revised Exhibit 13-12.3 is included in this submittal. 9. A curve number of 56 war previously approved and ured in the Pond 011 derign for the undisturbed area/rah watershed located between the proposed Pond O11A and existing Pond 011. In the YPM-12 SEDCAD run a • curve number of 50 war ured. This Curve number a not included in either of the approved Curve number tablet for Yoart (Tablet 13-1 and Table 13-12.1). Please explain this apparent discrepancy and describe what effect this may have on the YPM-12 drainage derign. If necessary, please ad'urt the SEDCAD derign utilizing an appropriate Curve number. Response: The curve number has been revised and a new SEDCAD run is attached. (Note that the Curve number revision made no difference in the drainage derign.) 10. A derign bat not been rubmined far an acceu road or light-uae road to the proposed Pand O11A. Haw will this pond be attested in the future for quarterly inspections, cleaning, routine maintenance, etc? Response: Exhibit 12-1, Operations Plan -Mining, has been updated to show a location for a light use road to access Pond O11A. The road will be constructed according to the guidelines discussed in Tab 13 under "Light-Use Roads: 71. SCC hat indicated that a barkboe and other small equipment will be ured to ronrJruct YPM-12. Although minimal, there will be additional disturbance associated with the coratrurtion of YPM-12. Please provide a plan and schedule for repairing the dirturbance associated with the use of a backhoe and other equipment along the YPM-12 drainage and amy attest router into this location.
