The responses to each of the adequacy <br />comments are provided below and aze numbered accordingly. <br />1. No foundation information war found in the application for proposed Pond O11A. In accordance with Rule <br />4.05.9(6), please include information on the foundation condition at the dam rite that influences the design and <br />stability of the dam. <br />Response: The information requested is included in the enclosed Attachment 13-18, Sedimentation <br />• Pond O11A Stability Analysis. <br />2. Na companion rpetiftcation way found in the application for the Pond 011A embankment. In attordante with <br />Rule 4.05.9(7)(x), please include a companion specification in the design report for the dam. <br />Response: The information requested is included in the enclosed Attachment 13-18, Sedimentation <br />Pond 011A StabilityAnalysir. <br />3. The upstream dope of the embankment it not indicated an Drawing 13-SB. Pleare indicate the upstream dope of <br />the Pond 011A embankment on Drawing 13-SB. The combined upstream and downstream doper should not <br />exceed Sh:1 v. <br />Response: Exhibit 13-SB has been updated to indicate a 3H:1 V slope on the upstream side of the <br />embankment. Therefore the combined upstream and downstream slopes equals 6H;1V. <br />4. Pleare include a stability analysis that demanytrater that the proposed embankment has a safety favor of 1.3 in <br />accordance with Rule 4.05.9(8)(6). Pleare indicate the source of conrtrunion materials, embankment and <br />foundation .roily, and engineering strength charanerirthy. <br />Response: The information requested is included in the enclosed Attachment 13-18, Sedimentation <br />Pond O11A Stability Anafysis. <br />5. There is no protection of the (inside) doper of the embankment indicated m the submittal. Pleare revise the <br />application to indicate the pratenion provided to the inslope or upstream face of the embankment so as to fully <br />comply with Rule 4.05.9(9). <br />• <br />
