Addendum to Geotechnical Data Report <br />Bowie Resources, Limited <br />July 2002 <br />Section 2 -Geotechnical <br /> Investigations <br />2.1 General <br />GEI performed subsurface geotechnical investigations that included: a) drilling exploratory <br />borings in a landslide on the right side of the reservoir and installing open standpipe <br />piezometers and inclinometers in some of the borings; and b) drilling one boring into the <br />right side of the upstream slope of the main dam. <br />The field investigations were performed between November 26 and November 30, 2001 by <br />Heliport Drilling of Grand Junction, Colorado and provided the drilling services under <br />contract to Bowie Resources, Ltd. GEI observed the drilling, logged the soil and rock <br />materials obtained from each hole, preserved the samples, and maintained records of drilling <br />activities. A summary of the boring locations, depths, and piezometer, and inclinometer <br />installations is presented in Table 2.1.
