Cattany <br />Division DireROr <br />Natural Resource Tmstee <br />RE: Bowie No. 2 Mine, Permit No. C-96-083, Bowie Resources LLC <br />Technical Revision No. 47, Hubbazd Creek Vent Shaft and Incidental Boundary Change, <br />Adequacy Review <br />Deaz Mr. Beaz: <br />The Colorado Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety (Division) has finished its adequacy <br />review of Bowie Resources LLC's (BRL) submittal for Technical Revision No. 47 (TR-47) for <br />the Bowie No. 2 Mine. The following are the Division's comments and questions: <br />Rule 2.03.6 - Rieht of Entry and Operation Information <br />Please provide written documentation that the operations proposed in TR-47 aze approved <br />by the USDA-Forest Service. <br />Rule 2.03.9 -Identification of Other Licenses and Permits <br />2. Please verify whether the current SPCC plan needs to be updated to include mining <br />materials and facilities proposed in TR-47. <br />Rule 2.04.4 -Cultural and Historic Resource Information <br />3. As stated in the cover letter for the TR-47 submittal, BRL will conduct a cultural <br />resources inventory for TR-47, as required in Rule 2.04.4. In a submittal dated Mazch 30, <br />2007, the Division has already sent to BRL the TR-47 comment letter from the Colorado <br />Historical Society (CHS), dated Mazch 26, 2007. In that letter, the CHS requested a copy <br />of the cultural resources inventory report and any other pertinent information for their <br />review.
