EX~3IT E (Cont'd)
The operator's intention is to minimize disturbances to

•
the prevailing hydrologic balance of the affected land and of
the surrounding area and to the quality and quantity of water
in surface and ground water systems during and after reclamation.
Valco believes it is in compliance with federal and state laws
and regulations governing water and water rights. There is no
application of the dredge law or siltation structure removal
requirement. See Exhibit G for more details on water.
Areas outside the boundaries of the property to be mined
will not be affected in any foreseeable way by slides, runoff
or other functions of the mining or reclamation operations.
All land area of the affected land will be stabilized
through revegetation and grading so as to control erosion
and attendant air and water pollution.
The landowner-operator has elected to reclaim by creating
four or five small lakes and revegetating with cover that is
capable of self-regeneration and is at least equal to the
extent of cover in the area prior to mining activity. The
reclamation map, Exhibit F or I'-1, indicates the component
parts of this plan.
Wildlife habitat in the area should be enhanced by the
• reclamation plan. See Exhibit li for more details.
Revegetation Program. The revegetation program has been
adapted from recommendations of the Soil Conservation Service
with only minor changes (see Exhibit I/1).
Fertilizer. All areas to be seeded will receive an appli-
cation of 100 lbs. AgriChem (NZ) (18-46-0) and 80 lbs. AgriChem
(P205) (34-0-0) per acre.
