<br />PIINING PI.AtI (Amendment i.'1) <br />Tltis amenderaettt is to add the recently acquired .P&RCl? Railroad right-of- <br />way to this operativn, plus the industrial zoned area of 13 acres. The <br />right-of-way effectively divided the applicants property. Stages U 5 I of <br />tite original mining plan have been mined and basically reclal.med. 'Clte <br />north boundary of. Stage I has been r.ipr:xppr_d to prr:vent the Arkansas <br />River from eroding into the lake.. Stage II and Stage III, Parl' 1, of the <br />original plan is effectively depleted, e:ccept for the material under the <br />railroad right-oE-may. <br />The railroad bed consists of Overburden and ballast. Thi:.t co~tterial ro.tll <br />be removed by front-end loader and trucks and sold for fiJ.l material, <br />• and also used to slope banks to cuiap].ete reclamation itt ,Stage I. Tice <br />applicant already has sufficient topsoil itt stockpile f.rrnir tlce Stage II <br />and Stage III, Part 1 operation for. replacement on the hackvlopes. Some <br />excess overburden will be hauled and placed on the riprapped area on the <br />north side of Stage I. The balance. of the overburden will be moved south <br />into the dewaterecl area of Stage II and Stage III, Part 1. After the aRggeg:ate <br />is mined, this material mill be m~n~ed by dozer :tnd front-end loader back <br />against the bank to create tice proper backsloping. <br />Pfini.ug of this added acreage will ba conducted as follows, from 41est to Bast: <br />1.
