PIINING PI.AtI (Amendment i.'1) Tltis amenderaettt is to add the recently acquired .P&RCl? Railroad right-of- way to this operativn, plus the industrial zoned area of 13 acres. The right-of-way effectively divided the applicants property. Stages U 5 I of tite original mining plan have been mined and basically reclal.med. 'Clte north boundary of. Stage I has been r.ipr:xppr_d to prr:vent the Arkansas River from eroding into the lake.. Stage II and Stage III, Parl' 1, of the original plan is effectively depleted, e:ccept for the material under the railroad right-oE-may. The railroad bed consists of Overburden and ballast. Thi:.t co~tterial ro.tll be removed by front-end loader and trucks and sold for fiJ.l material, • and also used to slope banks to cuiap].ete reclamation itt ,Stage I. Some excess overburden will be hauled and placed on the riprapped area on the north side of Stage I. The balance. of the overburden will be moved south into the dewaterecl area of Stage II and Stage III, Part 1.
