The amendment proposes to change access to the mine from 124a' <br />Avenue to 120`s Avenue. <br />The graphic supplied with the notification indicates the exit from the new access point to <br />be directly across the street from the Curdy residence and in close proximity to the <br />Fischer residence. This access alignment is not approved by Adams County and is not <br />approved by the access issuing authority to 120`s Avenue, Commerce City. <br />Please note in the May 31, 20021etter from Commerce City approving access from 120a' <br />Avenue stipulation Number 2 states: <br />2) The full movement access shall be located 550 ~- west from the centerline of Highway 85. <br />Adams County Planning also refers this location as being east of the northerly projected <br />eastern alignment of the Curdy property line located at 11000 East 1201h Avenue. <br />The only access point that will be acceptable to Adams County must affect the residents <br />to the west of Thoms/Curdy property line as minimally as possible. <br />Should you have any questions regarding this issue concerning this permit for training, <br />please do not hesitate calling me a 303-853-7003. <br />Sincerely, <br />C~ `~'~'- <br />Craig Tessmer <br />Environmental Analyst <br />Cc: County Administrator <br />Director, Planning and Development <br />Les Ewegen <br />Attachments <br />BOARD OF COUNTY ELAINE T.
