PAGE TWO
September 4, 1992
JANET BINN
The tank removal area will remain open until laboratory results of soil samples are known. If the
results show no releases of hydrocarbons, the area will be filled with dirt and then covered with
concrete. If the results show a release has occurred, the Colorado Department OF Health will
be notified.
The performance bond required for the reclamation of the underground storage area is already
included in the permit. Any bond required for dismantling the erected tanks and removing the
concrete pad and berm will be added to the current bond amount. Currently, a cushion of
$87,867 exists in the posted performance bond. This cushion will be reduced by the bond
amount calculated by OMLR.
A completed revision form is enclosed.
If you have any questions, please call me or Tim Chervick at 1-675-8431.
Sincerely,
Murari Shrestha
Assistant Manager of Engineering
MS:Igp
cc: Don L.
