Amendments x111 be <br />applied as needed in each growing season. Slopes in the revegetation areas will <br />be monitored for erosion development and netting will be repaired, replaced or <br />applied as necessary. <br />A revegetation success monitoring program will be carried out by sampling during the <br />second season, at the midpoint of the bonding period and one year prior to <br />scheduled bond release to document progress and attainment of the success standards <br />set by the Division under Rule 4.15.7(2)(d)(vi). <br />Blue Ribbon Coal Company shall use the following species diversity criteria for the <br />purpose of determining reclamation success: <br />(a) A minimum of 1 cool season sod forming grass, and 3 cool season bunch <br />grasses, with each species having a minimum relative cover of 5 percent. <br />Perennial forbs (all species combined) must provide a minimum of 5 percent <br />relative cover. No individual herbaceous species which provides in excess <br />of 60 percent relative cover can be counted toward the diversity standard. <br />A minimum of 3 woody plant species must be present in the reclaimed community. <br />113 (Rev. 8/30/85) <br />
