It is the intent of the operator to reclaim the: property
as best as possible so that it blends in with i:he
surrounding areas. We expect a survival rate i.n the
range of 5 to 10 percent or 525 to 1,050 trees and shrubs.
P,vi ~ 5 ~'~+-~
B. Exhibit L - Reclamation Costs .G ~1 .
1. Reclamation Costs Per Acre ~~~ ~ ~e
a. The reclamation costs submitted were based on
Mobile Premix's costs to totally reclaim ttie property.
The intended final use of this property is commercial.
We intend to leave a final surface area that will
allow the placement of building footings, Etc. For
bonding purposes only, it is our opinion tY,at the
benches would be the only areas that may require
fill. This will allow for a better medium for tree
and shrub plantings. The maximum amount of bench
area at any given time will be approximately 15
acres. The backfillina should be approximately 12"
or 24,000 cubic yards. It is our experience and
opinion that the $1.00 per cubic yard figure is too
high. Our costs are substantially lower ar.d we
suggest a compromise to 75C per cubic yard. This
gives you a total cost of $18,000 for the 15 acres
of backfilling.
b. As previously mentioned, our costs are based on
total reclamation. For bonding purposes, the
acreages from Phase V should be used. These represent
the maximum number of acres disturbed at any given time.
82.2 acres ripping at $160 per acre $13,152
97.4 acres grading & shaping at $240
per acre 23,376
97.4 acres topsoiling & smoothing
at $1,210 per acre 117,854
97.4 acres grass seed at $22.10
per acre 2,152
