Delta Sand and Grave. •
PIT #1 Amendment
M.L.R.B. # M-77-020
July 8, 1997
EXHIBIT E - Reclamation Plan
The intended final land use will not change from what is
currently permitted, with a minor exception. The EAST PARCEL
will become a private recreation area for the enjoyment of the
landowners. There are no changes to the current revegetation
plan as approved. We will resoil the site and follow the
rehabilitation methods as described in the approved plan. The
EAST PARCEL will be revegetated using the following seed mixture
approved seed mix. The landowners may wish to plant trees around
the perimeter of the lake but Delta Sand and Gravel Co. will only
plant grass. The west parcel, if mined, will be revegetated as
approved in the existing plan. Reclamation will run concurrent
with mining to keep the amount of disturbed area to a minimum as
required in the bond calculation we are submitting for review.
The islands shown on the original reclamation map were to
have been built with excess overburden. We are taking them out
of the final reclamation plan at this time because there was not
as much overburden as we expected. The cost to construct them
became cost prohibitive since we would have had to obtain the
material from another source, haul it into build the islands.
RECLAMATION TIMETABLE (revised 7/971
ACRES t

REA

YEARS

OTAL

ATER BANK
SLOPE
BELOW
WATER

OAD

EVEGETATION
EXISTING 4-6 19.76 15.88 3.55 0.63 3.25
EAST PARCEL 4-6 19.92 13.03 2.84 0.67 6.22
WEST PARCEL 4-6 5.51 3.76 1.36 0.13 1.62
Totals 45.19 32.67 7.75 1.43 11.09
6
