SECTION III -STATUS OF STIPULATIONS <br />Only one stipulation remains on the Bear Mine permit. <br />Stip. #6 The permittee will submit to the Division an annual hydrologic report. This <br />report shall include an analysis of all hydrologic data gathered during the yenr, <br />an assessment of the impacts of mining during the year, and an assessment of the <br />projected impacts ojmining in the following year. This report shall assess the <br />impacts of mining on the quality and quantity of water in szrrface streams, <br />springs, groundwater aquifers, mine inflow, and mine discharges. <br />According to records in the Division, all other stipulations have been satisfied or otherwise <br />terminated. The permit document issued May 29, 1998, (Permit Revision #3) shows two <br />additional stipulations -Stipulation #21 and Stipulation #32. Records show, however, that <br />these stipulations were terminated on January 12, 1996, and Mazch 21, 1996, respectively. <br />SECTION IV -MIDTERM ADEQUACY QUESTIONS <br />Pursuant to 2.08.3, the Division has the following adequacy questions and/or comments. The <br />Division would appreciate a timely response in the form a minor revision. Please submit a <br />revision addressing these comments by December ] 5, 2000. <br />(1) Please update the reclamation timetable on page. 2.05-27Ra to reflect changes that have <br />occurred since mine closure. <br />(2) Please include on a map the precise limits of the disturbed area. <br />(3) Please explain and describe the plan for reclaiming the sedimentation pond, as it appears <br />that all the stored topsoil has been distributed already, leaving none to cover the current pond <br />site. <br />(4) Please submit a minor revision updating the water monitoring plan to include those analytes <br />for which receiving stream standazds exist for the North Fork of the Gunnison River. These <br />should be part of the regular monitoring program and monitored during the month of August, <br />when flows aze low and irrigation withdrawals aze still active. Both upstream and downstream <br />North Fork samples should include these analytes along with active discharge points. <br />This is necessary for the Division to prepare the Cumulative Hydrologic Impacts Assessment <br />of the North Fork as required by the Rules. <br />Mine Name -4- Date <br />
