24. Similar to comment number 25 above, but for the 25 year-24 hour event, the sediment
storage volume increased from 1.31 acre-feet to 1.55 acre-feet and the peak discharge
increased from 60.33 cfs to 67.60 cfs. This would result in the discharge through the
emergency spillway coming within less than 1 foot of the top of the embankment, which
is not allowed by Rule 4.05.6(11)(e). Please submit a revised pond design that would
allow the dischazge of the 25 yeaz-24 hour event to be in compliance.
25. In [he SEDCAD run for pond MB-2R, subwatersheds numbers 7 and 8 have been added
to junction 4, branch 2, structure 1. Please describe what these two subwatershed
additions aze.
26. Please add ditch D2R-4A and the appropriate information to Table 44E for pond MB-2R.
Also, please revise the ditch notation from D2R-lA to D2R-4A on Map 54, for the ditch
that flows into culvert C2R-3.
27. D2R-5 has been removed from Map 54 and from Table 44E, but still appeazs on the
routing diagram for pond MB-2R in Exhibit 66. Please revise this diagram accordingly,
if you agree.
28. In proposed Table 44E, Ditch and Culvert Summary, the peak dischazge for ditch D2R-7
is listed as 12.09 cfs. In the approved Table 44, the same ditch has a peak discharge of
2.35 cfs. It does not appeaz that the drainage area going into this ditch has changed much.
Is [his a typo error ?
29. Culvert C2R-6 has been removed from revised Table 44E and from revised Map 54.
However, it still appears on the routing diagram for pond MB-2R. Please revise the
routing diagram.
30. The recent submittal contains one page labeled Attachment 44-1, two pages labeled Table
44E and two pages labeled Table 44. All five pages are subtitled "Ditch and Culvert
Summary - 10 Year 24-Hour Storm." Should all of these pages be labeled Table 44E ?
Please revise, if true.
31. Please remove the ditch designation of former ditch D2R-6 from Map 54.
32. The routing diagram for pond MB-2R shows that drainage azea #25 flows into ditch
DCW-4 and, ultimately, into pond MB-2R. However, Map 54 shows that drainage area
#25 flows into ditch DCW-4, through culvert CSLY-3 and, then, into Sylvester Gulch. If
you agree, please revise the SEDCAD runs, summary tables and the routing diagrams for
pond MB-2R and for Sylvester Gulch accordingly.
33. Please revise the routing diagram for pond MB-2R for [he Sylvester Gulch live/subsoil
stockpile #1 drainage. There appear to be several inconsistences between the routing
4
