Concerning topsoil stockpiles, the Division recommends maximum outslopes <br />of 3H:1V. Please state that the piles will be graded 3H:1V and then <br />reseeded. <br />18. Concerning reseeding, presumably the nine (9) pounds/acre is a drilled <br />rate. Please confirm. If not, the Division recommends increasing the <br />rate, i.e., double to eighteen (18) pounds if broadcast. Please respond. <br />Exhibit G <br />19. Concerning water use, will the wash water be recirculated from the <br />ponds? Will the ponds be non discharging? <br />20. Also, what operating site sediment control will be implemented to <br />minimize erosion and control sediment (i.e., berms, hay bails, etc.)? <br />21. Please state if the landowner has water rights to supply this operation. <br />Exhibit J <br />22. Please state the major species, percent cover of each major species and <br />total cover. This information is necessary for financial warranty <br />release. <br />Exhibit L <br />23. The Division estimates reclamation costs on worst case condition. I have <br />recalculated a recommended financial warranty (please see attached). The <br />Division will recommend to the Colorado Mined Land Reclamation board that <br />Asphalt Paving post a financial warranty of X54,440.00. Please respond. <br />Exhibit M <br />24. The Division has received a letter from Douglas County indicating that <br />mining of this site is not in compliance with zoning. Please respond. <br />Local government approval is required prior to Colorado Mined Land <br />Reclamation Board approval. <br />
