Upland Gravel has formulated a timetable for this site based on the removal of <br />material at the rate of 40 K-60 K ton annually. Timetables are subject to changes <br />dictated by market demand for construction and landscape materials. The <br />timetable is prepared in annual phases for mining and reclamation activities for <br />the life of the reserves. <br />Phasel Minin 2001 <br />Unit 1 Remove topsail and gravel from Unit 1 and place in storm water control berms on Unit 2. <br /> Use overburden to construct processing and stockpile area. Set up crusher and <br /> equipment and begin gravel processing. <br />Unit 2 Expand processing & stockpile area on undisturbed area. Detention berms added to <br /> existing ground surface. Gravel processing area and storm water detention area for life <br /> of pit. <br />Unit 3 Unaffected. <br />thru <br />Unit 12 <br />Phase 2 Mining (2002) <br />Unit 1 Gravel processing and storage. <br /> Fall 2002 - Re-vegetate topsoil berms on Unit 2 <br />Unit 2 Gravel storage & processing 8 storm water detention for life of pit. <br />Unit 3 Remove topsoil and distribute to berm areas of Unit 3. <br /> Remove overburden and distribute to berm areas of Unit 2. <br />Unit 4 Unaffected. <br />thru <br />Unit 12 <br />Phase 3 Minin 2003 <br />Unit 1 Gravel processing and storage. <br />Unit 2 Gravel processing and storage and storm water detention. <br />Unit 3 Gravel extraction to shale contact, reshape to 4:1 slope. <br /> Fall 2003 - Re-vegetate berms on Unit 2 & Unit 3. <br />Unit 4 Remove topsoil and distribute to reshaped areas of Unit 3. Remove overburden and <br /> store in berms on Unit 11 and Unit 12. <br /> Gravel extraction. <br />Unit 5 Unaffected. <br />thru <br />Unit 10 <br />Unit 11 Top soil storage on part of Unit 11 next to Unit 1.
