Exhibit C: The surface elevation for the well pad will not be disturbed throughout the mine
life. The well pad is fenced and isolated from all mining activity. The contours
reflect the general trend of the slope for the pit floor for all stages of the mine life.
2.) Exhibit D: Once the permit has been approved mining will be stopped in the south area. The
overburden and waste fines from this area will be used to fill the Valley Fill Area
1. Slopes along the western edge of the mining extent will be filled and reclaimed
as per the reclamation plan. Mining will then proceed to the North Pit and then to
the South Pit.
The site has applied for and been granted a gravel well permit for the site. This
would allow water exposure for the site. However, through reclamation the
imgated field will be above the water table. The operator commits to a minimum
of 2 feet of material above exposed ground water. This will not be a problem due
to the abundance of overburden and waste fines.
The Mining Timetable included in Exhibit D describes the sequencing and
duration for each of the mining areas. Also it includes the reclamation into the
time table.
The site currently has some very large overburden and waste fines piles. After
issuance of the permits these piles will be used to fill a majority of the Valley. It
is duly noted that runoff and sediment control will be important in these fill areas.
