Mr. Peter V. O'Connor
September 20, 1985
Page 2
- Dust Control.
- Absence of toxics in mill reagents.
At the end of three hours, there were apparently no new questions
from the audience which had not been addressed, I firmly believe
that the meeting represented a good faith effort on the part of
Mr. Steen and his associates to address any and all questions
whether based on legitimate concerns, curiosity, speculation or
lack of information. All present were referred to the Applica-
tion for Permit Amendment as a source for more information, and
the locations where the Application could be examined were noted.
At the close of the meeting, Mr. Robert Mason made closing
comments, a copy of which comments are attached for your review.
Though not an endorsement of the Application, Mr. Mason's
comments are indicative of the quality of the presentation by Mr.
Steen and his good faith attempt to answer community concerns.
Please make this letter a part of your file in the matter of
the Application for Permit Amendment.
Very truly yours,
VRANES AND RAISCH
By ~.
John R.
