DMG -Please modify that part of page 3-4 to clarify the approved postmining land
use.
MIN -Page 3-4 was amended to state the reclaimed mine site will be utilized as a
staging area in the spring and fall as cattle are moved to and from their summer
range in the higher elevations.
13. DMG -Please include a postmining land use map of the mine site in the PAP that
indicates all postmining land uses. Please include on the map the acreage of each
postmining use designation.
MIN -Anew land use map, Drawing D-3-2 is enclosed. Acreages are listed on
page 4-ix. It is not realistic to calculate an acreage for unimproved range since the
entire surrounding and adjacent area fits into that category.
14. DMG -Please provide two copies of Map 3-3A to the Division.
MIN -The two copies are enclosed.
15. DMG -Please add to the PAP a letter from Pitkin County that the "Developed Water
Resource" land is compatible with local land use policies and plans.
M1N - A letter was sent to Pitkin County requesting the referenced letter.
Enclosed in an application for a technical revision to incorporate theses changes into the
permit.
Sincerer
'J.
