Source of Replacement <br />Weld County has one share of the Rural Ditch Company (See Exhibit <br />A) which provides 50 acre-feet consumptive use water. Water will <br />be diverted from the Rural Ditch and will be discharged into a <br />previously reclaimed lake as shown on the enclosed map (See Case <br />No. W-7813-74 ). <br />D. CONCLUSIONS AND RECOHHENDATIONS <br />1. The net evaporative losses from the proposed lake of the <br />Hokestra Pit is 14.91 acre-feet. <br />2. Related consumptive uses for the mining activities are 3.33 <br />acre-feet. <br />3. Credit has been taken for ponds that existed prior to 1981 <br />and for areas that are characteristically wetlands. <br />4. The replacement water will be diverted from the Rural Ditch <br />to a reclaimed lake. The annual total of water diverted <br />will be 31.57 acre-feet. <br />5. A lake which has been reclaimed will be used as a recharge <br />well. Timing of replacements will be done as shown in Table <br />No. 4. <br />6. This plan is requested for one year with the option for <br />renewal. <br />7.
