Native hay mulch will be applied at the rate of 4000 lbs/acre. <br />The hay will be comprised of native grasses and be essentially free of "cheatgrass" <br />"Terra Tac" will be applied as a hay mulch tack iffier at the rate of 120 lbs/acre. <br />Technique 4 - Mild to Gentle Slopes <br />All ground will be broken by plow, disk, or rippers to a depth of at <br />least 6 inches. All areas will be smoothed by harrowing. The area will be <br />drill seeded using 18 lbs. PLS/acre (Seed Mix 1), 19 lbs. PLS/acre (Seed Mix <br />2), or 21 lbs. PLS/acre (Seed Mix 3). Fertilizer (18-46-0) will be applied at <br />the rate of 400 lbs/acre. Native hay mulch will be applied at the rate of 4000 <br />lbsJacre. The hay will be comprised of native grasses and be essentially free <br />of "cheatgrass". All hay mulch will be crimped.
