~,
iii iiiiiiiiniu iii
STATE OF COLUI~llU_
Roy Romer, Govei
DEPARTMENT OF NATURAL RESOURCES
MINED LAND RECLAMATION DIVISION
FRED R. BANTA, Director
DATE: September 8, 1989
T0: Bill Crick
FROM: Jim Pendleton ~ ~~~--~~~
RE: East side - e Pe Renewal -Subsidence Monitoring Frequency
(Permit #C-84-063)
It appears I completed the same review at Harry Ranney's request in July of
this year. The good labs provide the same results for both portions of the
split sample:
The second half of the final paragraph of my original memorandum speaks to
your concern. I don't believe the monitoring frequency should be reduced
below semi-annually. I allowed the monitoring frequency to be reduced durino
cessation, because it was prudent to assume very low probability of newly
initiated subsidence manifestation. No subsidence had occurred to date and no
additional underground disturbance would occur durino the cessation.
attachment
cc: Jim Stevens
215 Centennial Building, 1313 Sherman Street Denver, Colorado 80203.2273 Tel.
