Loscheider with Archedlogical Services to Wayne <br />Sowazds.of Utah International Inc: is found in Appendix:IC of the. mine. permit document. <br />fu this letter, Ms: Loscheider stated that two azcheologieat sites found near the southeast <br />corner of the Trapper Mine permit appeared eligible for inclusion in the National Register <br />of Historic Places. These. sites; and their locations as described by Archeological Services <br />iti their Errata Sheet for Project No. AS 80-C0-14, are: <br />Site No. Location <br />SMF948 SE/NE/NE/NE of Section 8, TSN, R90W <br />SMF949 C/S'h/SE/SE/SW of Section 6, TSN;:R90W <br />Please. provide the. documentation indicating the. State Historic Preservation Officer's <br />determinations for the listing of.these sites on the National Register.. <br />The required documentation is provided. Please incorporate the State Historic Preservation <br />Officer's letter into Appendix K, Part I Permit Section 4. /. l has also been revised to reflect the <br />site designations. (Permit pages 4-3 and 4-3a.) <br />c: A review of Map M45 indicates some corrections need to be. made. Site No: SMF290 <br />.(redesignated as site SMF949 by Archeological:Servires) has been.mislocated. Please cor- <br />rect this.. Also please revise the permit boundary on Map M45.to :that of the boundary <br />..shown on Map Ml... . <br />Permit Map M45 was revised and submitted to the Division December, 1991. The map shows the <br />current permit boundary and the correct location aj5MF290. A copy ojthe map is enclosed. <br />d. Please address what. effect. surface <br />. blasting will have upon these sites.
