This Amendment references the future possibility and intent to wet mine <br />this pit and the Mining and Reclamation Plans reflect this intent. <br />In addition to the intent to wet mine, the Operator is also working with the Rio Grande <br />Canal Water Users Association to use the pit as a seasonal recharge basin. The Maps <br />now show the proposed location for the rechazge ditch. Once again, the Operator is <br />aware of the necessary permits and plans that must be in place prior to this action. <br />Exhibit E -Reclamation Plan (Rule 6.4.5 <br />Topsoil growth media will be replaced to a depth of 4-6 inches on all areas to be seeded. <br />Topsoil stockpiling has been addressed above. <br />Exhibit G -Water Information (Rule 6.4.7) <br />The domestic well location is neaz the dwelling that it servers which is just off County <br />Road 7 North aka Colorado HWY 374 please see pre-mining map and the Colorado <br />Division of Water Resources map with is attached with this report. This well is identified <br />. _in.the:Special:Warranty Deed as Well No. 3, Case W-1345,. Water Division No:.3 State of <br />Colorado under Permit No. 150545. This well as reported on the State Division of Water <br />Resources records is as follows: Receipt # 0284551, Permit # 150545, Act Date <br />02/08/1988, Division 3, Water District 20, Aquifer 1-unconfined San Luis vall, Use 1- <br />Domestic, Use 2- Stock, Depth (feet) 65. The name on this permit only shows up as <br />Henry T. Southway and Rock I. Southway, 117 White Pine Dr., Alamosa, CO 81101. <br />This well is located in the no-mining buffer zone as shown on the mining map. The <br />imgation well is owned by the Southway's and is not located on this parcel of land that is <br />being added to this existing permit as an amendment. <br />,.. • ~ -~,: . • ~; .The irrigation •we11 water rights will be established when the water supply plan for this <br />-- permit is area is undertaken and designed. This well is on the original portion of this <br />permit area. <br />Additional water permits from the State Engineer's Office have been added to Exhibit M <br />- Other Permits. <br />Exhibit J -Veeetation Information (Rule 6.4.10) <br />Information in this exhibit was included from the original permit for continuity. It has <br />modified to state that slopes to be seeded will have a maximum slope of 3H:1 V. <br />Exhibit L -Reclamation Costs (Rule 6.4.12) <br />The highwall reduction item has been increased to $3,775.00. Exhibit L contains a <br />separate line item for the existing bond ($187,217.00). References to " 35 acres" are for <br />the amended area. <br />Exhibit M -Other Permits and Licenses (Rule 6.4.13) <br />Additional water permits from the State Engineer's Office have been added. <br />
