(b) a statement that a reclamation permit for the operation has been issued by the Colorado Mined Land Reclamation Board; and (c) the permit number. (2) The boundaries of the affected area will be marked with monuments, that are clearly visible: (a) This is a 112 operation, therefore, the permit boundary and the affected boundary are not the same, and the operator/applicant is proposing a floating bond to cover a portion of the site, to allow mining and reclamation to be ongoing. (3) The affected land will be monumented for easy delineation. ----END applicable Requirements of Section 3.1 (d) Where applicable, the operator/applicant has plans developed for the segregation, preservation, replacement, compaction and grading of soil used for revegetation. The revegetation plan will contain a list of the preferred species of grasses to be planted as recommended by the field office of the NRCS. All seeds recommended should be available and in sufficient quantity to accomplish the revegetation. Seedbed preparation has been covered in Section 3.1 of this application. (e) The schedule of reclamation will closely follow the mining phasing, and the operator would expect to start reclamation as soon as feasible after mining has been completed. :~,- The final grading also will be done in conjunction with mining. All backsloping and contouring will be done as mining progresses. Measures that will be taken to revegetate the site: (i) Basin side slopes will be graded to a maximum 3H:1V to 10 feet below the expected average water surface level. Side slopes below this will be graded to a maximum 2H:1V. Side slopes above the expected average water surface level and any other disturbed areas will be topsoiled to a depth of 4-fi" and revegetated. The floor of the basin will be graded and smoothed but not topsoiled as not to inhibit recharge. See maps. (ii) Time of seeding, seedbed preparation, type, application rate and soil incorporation, method of fertilization application. Fall seeding is preferred and proposed if at all possible. The seedbed will be scarified and it will be across the slope in the backsloped area. Seed will be drilled rather than broadcast. No fertilization is proposed. Straw or grass hay will be applied at the rate of 4,000#/A.
