Materials which could potentially pollute stormwater with hydrocarbons shall be stored <br />in enclosed containers and shall be bermed. All shall remain out of main traffic routes <br />and shall be located on impervious surfaces. Berms shall be of sufficient size to contain <br />the contents of the tank, should a leak or spill occur. Fueling of equipment is monitored <br />to prevent accidental overfills and spills. Residual asphalt shall be stockpiled and utilized <br />for recycled road base to be utilized in the community. <br />• Stockpile materials shall be directed to the asphalt plant facility via a conveyor system on <br />the subject property. <br />Groundwater Protection <br />No groundwater contamination is anticipated, due to the following: <br />According to drill logs for the subject property, the depth of deposits average 69' and the <br />depth of the water table was logged at 59' in depth. <br />A Stormwater Management Plan and Permit exists for the subject property, which <br />outlines adequate mitigation of potential groundwater pollutants. <br />As stated in the above concrete and asphalt plant specifications, controls shall be in place <br />to address and mitigate against potential pollutants, as a result of the facilities. <br />If you have any further questions or concerns, please contact me at your earliest convenience. <br />Sincerely, , <br />Sa" rah Kam~ski <br />Project Manager/Land Planner <br />
