OS-LW23 and OS-LW23A:
This site is located in an azea where final bond release has been issued. The site is
located on a gentle slope (<4%), which is covered by grass. The site is located 1,000
feet to the west of an existing road. Access to the site will be by driving along the
shortest distance from the existing road to the proposed drill site. Topsoil will be
removed from the site and stored at the end of the drill pad which shall be nominally
100 feet squaze. A reserve pit shall be dug using a backhoe. The reserve pit shall be
approximately 20 feet X 10 feet and 8 feet deep. The acreage disturbed for the drill
site will be approximately .23 acres and the access road .19 acres. The drill site will
be twin drilled (two holes). The first hole will be drilled using both rotazy and
conventional coring methods. The second hole will be continuously core drilled from
the surface to a point approximately 40 feet below the "B" seam. In addition to the
core drilling in the second site, several in-situ stress measurements will be made using
over-coring methods. The site will be occupied by drilling equipment for
approximately 25 to 30 days.
OS-LW24:
This site is located in an azea where final bond release has been issued. The site is
located adjacent to an existing road and on a gentle slope. The road will cross an
existing dry wash. At the crossing point, a section of steel pipe will be laid in place to
act as a temporary culvert during the drilling of the hole. The pipe will be removed
when the site and access road is reclaimed. Topsoil will be removed from the site
using a backhoe and will be stored at the edge of the site. The drill site shall be
approximately 100 feet square. A reserve pit shall be dug using a backhoe. The
reserve pit shall be approximately 20 feet X 10 feet and 8 feet deep. The acreage
disturbed for the drill site will be approximately .23 acres. The site will be occupied
by drilling equipment for approximately 7-10 days.
OS-LW25
This site is located in a previously disturbed area on a gentle slope (<4%) and
adjacent to an existing road. The site is located in an azea that has been mined and
spoil piles exist but has yet to be reclaimed. The drill site shall be approximately 100
feet square. A reserve pit shall be dug using a backhoe. The reserve pit shall be
approximately 20 feet X 10 feet and 8 feet deep. No new acreage will be disturbed
with this drill site. The site will be occupied by drilling equipment for approximately
7-10 days.
OS-LW26
This site is located within an azea that has been reclaimed and final bond release has
been granted. The site is located approximately 850 feet from an existing road. The
drill site slial] be approximately 100 feet square. The topsoil will be removed from the
site using a backhoe and it will be stored on the edge of the site. A reserve pit shall
be dug using a backhoe. The reserve pit shall be approximately 20 feet X 10 feet and
