~'
EXHIBIT E
Reclamation Plan
C.F. and R.M.Cooper Trust Pit #7
2) application of feedlot or barnyard manure must be of a type that has 60% or more
by weight, heavy chunks 5 inches or more in diameter. The minimum rate of application
shall be 20 tons per acre, immediately before or after seeding.
Weed Control:
Annual and perennial weeds will compete with grass seedlings and may cause poor stands
or failures. Mowing is effective if done in a timely manner during the first two or three
growing seasons. After the grass is in the third or fourth leaf stage there are several
commercially available chemicals that may be applied at label rates. Contact the Baca
County Weed Control District for assistance.
Livestock exclusion will be practiced. Defer the seeded area for at least 2 years, until
grass is established. This may require fencing.
io
