Area 1 (Phase Two Bond Release)
• This area (326.8 acres) will be sampled for cover to sample adequacy
• This area was selected to be a block because the parcels have similar
topography and are within close proximity to each other. This area is
separated from the rest of Eckman Park by several hundred acres of
land which has been released from bond. Also, it has been managed as
a separated management unit by the ranch.
3) Eckman Park (Phase Two Bond Release)
• This area (2,061.7 acres) will be sample for cover to sample adequacy.
This area is a viable block because all parcels have the same land use,
pastureland, and the same post-mine usage of grazing. Also, parcels
have been managed as a unit; all parcels have similar topography.
• All of Eckman Park will be sampled, except for Area 41.
