Description:
• One collapsed log outbuilding (structure #2 of 1976 site form) associated with the Gollob Mine (SGN37) was
within the west edge of the survey corridor for the access to the ventilation shafts, but outside the azea of
impact of road construction The building is very badly deteriorated and has little associated material
31. Using your professional knowledge of the region, why are there none or very limited cultural
remains in the project area? Is there subsurface potential?: The areas surveyed were predominantly
narrow gulch floors, or steep, rocky colluviat and bedrock slopes. The slopes north of drill location II
were gentler and more open, and were located across the drainage from an improved spring, but were
still steep (ca. 20%) for a favorable camp or cabin location
