~"
Page 2
August 14, 2001
Mr. Troy Crane
'~ 6.4.5(2)(d) Exhibit E Reclamation Plan: In Item II of your reclamation plan at the top of page 9
you indicate that "seed recommendation is: Sand Bluestem - 16# per acre, Sideoats - 9# per acre,
Blue Grama - 3# per acre, Western Wheat - 16# per acre" This is an excellent revegetation mixture,
however, the seed mixture at the bottom of the same page seems provide significantly less seed per
acre, and is confusing. Please select one seed mixture and indicate in a letter the seed mixture to be
utilized in revegetation. If you wish to use the seed mixture at the bottom of the page, you should
consider adding Western Wheatgrass and Little Bluestem to round out the mixture and increase the
chance of success in your revegetation efforts.
I/ 6.4.19 Exhibit S Permanent Man-Made Structures The Division of Minerals and Geology
consider fences and county roads to be structures for the consideration of the permit.
