~.

6. The emergency spillway design calculations estimate a discharge volume of 27 cfs.
What is this volume based on?
7. Drawing 'TR-24" shows the outlet of the wash bay pond spillway intersecting the
existing diversion ditch at an angle of roughly 90°. What measures will be taken to
ensure that flow from the spillway will not breach the outer bank of the diversion ditch?
8. The explanation of facilities reclamation cost estimates includes a summary of
structures which will be relocated. The summary states that Unleaded Fuel Tank #7
was relocated to the Stoker facilities area. It does not appear that the costs for the
tank ($183.00) have been included in the Stoker facilities reclamation costs. Please
have Colowyo verify that these costs have been carried over.
9. The same explanation shows relocation of a number of fuel tanks to the southwest
facilities area. It does not appear that sludge removal costs ($20,779.20) were carried
over. Please have Colowyo verify that these costs were included in the southwest
facilities area costs.
10. Hourly costs for a Caterpillar D10N operating 1 shift per day should be $160.17. Please
have Colowyo base the increase in earthmoving costs on that figure.
11. Means structural demolition unit costs should be increased by 2.5% for location
adjustment. Please have Colowyo make this adjustment.
12. The reclamation cost estimate appears to include a reduction in costs associated with
grading and revegetation of the mine maintenance area disturbance. The previously
approved reclamation cost amount cannot be decreased unless processed as a release
(Rule 3.03).
SLB\082593B. WP
anet inns 2 August 2 , 1 3
