The estimate
consists of one summary sheet and 12 task sheets and represents a total liability of $178,329.00. This is
$23,329.00 more than the current liability of $155,000.00 and is $18,329.00 more than the current bond
held of $160,000.00.
Please review the information and inform the Division in a letter as to whether or not the estimate is
acceptable to Beaz Coal Company (BCC). If BCC finds this bond estimate acceptable, BCC will need to
submit additional bond to cover the increase in the cost of the reclamation liability.
The Division has not received any responses from BCC concerning the Division's adequacy review letter
dated March 6, 2002. Please respond to that letter, and the attached bond estimate, by September 13, 2002.
If you have any questions, please let me know.
Sincerely,
tia' >~~-0-~
J eph .
