However I would like to add a thought or two. These
occurred to me subsequent to that FAX.
Should your various state departments, agencies, facilities and etc. be unable or unwilling to
exercise all inclusive oversight of their various spheres of control, to include (But not be limited to)
all impacts relative to facilities which they (Departments) control, then I suggest that you:
I. Direct all departments (Etc.) to coordinate with all other departments (Etc.) in such a manor
that residents' concerns are actually and meaningfully addressed, without further hassle.
II. Direct all departments (Etc.) to specifically and effectively propose adjustments in each
{Dept.) such that they shall meet arduous strictures as to how they will effectively and
actually address the entire concerns of significant numbers of citizens relative to a particular
facility, and its impact(s) on their (Citizens') property and enjoyment of life.
III. Advise all departments (Etc.) that due to Nov. 1994, and the electorates' cry! of
revulsion with government as usual:
A. Down sizing is a considered option.
B. Consolidation is a considered option.
C. Real time, effective responses, controls, activities, and etc. will be a yard stick against
which considered action(s) as III. A. B. shall be implemented.
I don't wish you to feel that I am suggesting inappropriate actions. It is just that I observe the
Citizens of Colorado, time and time again, getting the short end of the stick when confronted by
industry in their (Industries') pursuance of the rewards of Free Competitive Enterprise, which
(Rewards) seem to accrue disproportionately and unfairly to those industries which strive within the
UNRESTRAINED portion of our Free Competitive Enterprise System.
The HOLY GRAIL of unrestrained economic expansion has destroyed other states; in terms of their
being even minimally acceptable environments in which to live and/or raise families.
Thank you for listing.
V truly your
erome L. Shain ~
