7.0 GEOTEXTILE FILTER FABRIC
The subgrade in areas to be overlain with riprap or grouted riprap shall be graded .and compacted
to form a uniform surface free of irregularities and protuberances. Upon meeting the approval of
the Designer, the prepared subgrade shall be overlain with either a minimum 6.0 oz./square yard
or 12.0 oz/square yard non-woven geotextile filter fabric meeting the approval of the Designer as
specified in the Drawings. No filter fabric is required in portions of the discharge pond. Where
the geotextile overlays tailings sand, the following Specifications must be met or exceeded:
