However, the <br />Division noted in its June 10, 1999 inspection report that the west cell has already been filled <br />with water and that pit slopes were approximately 0.5/I rather than the required 3:1. As required <br />by Rule 6.4.5(d), please indicate how all pit slopes for the east and west cells will be completed <br />to the required configuration of 3:1 or less. <br />4. As required by Rule 6.4.5(2)(f)(v), please specify the depth or range of depth of topsoil to be <br />replaced around the perimeter of the two (2) cells. <br />5. As required by Rule 6.4.5(2)(f)(iv), please provide a seed mix including species and seeding <br />rate of grasses to be seeded around the perimeter of the cells. Also, the acreage to be seeded is <br />needed. (You may refer to [he seed mix provided in the previously approved 112 or amendment <br />applications, if applicable. Please reference the appropriate application and section). <br />EXHIBIT G -Water Information <br />6. As required by Rule 6.4.7(4), please verify that the water rights proposed aze adequate for <br />operational needs (up to 1,000 gallons/week) during mining and for filling the two (2) cells for <br />reclamation purposes. A written letter of compliance from the Office of the State Engineer will <br />be sufficient. <br />EXHIBIT H -Wildlife Information <br />Attached are comments received from the Colorado Division of Wildlife on the proposed <br />amendment.
