Fish and Wildlife - Rules 2.04.11, 2.05.6(2), 4.18 <br />The Division is in the process of contacting CDOW to determine whether <br />any additional fish and wildlife information will be required from <br />surface areas occupied by the three new lease areas. Any request for <br />additional information by CDOW will be forwarded to the applicant as <br />soon as possible. <br />VII. Operation Description - Rules 2.05.2, 2.05.3,(1) 2.05.3(2), 4.01 <br />Section III of the permit application needs to be revised to provide a <br />description of the area of Land to be affected over the entire life of <br />the operation, according to the anticipated sequence of mining and <br />reclamation. Information presently contained within the application <br />appears to describe only those operations occurring within the current <br />permit term. <br />The D Seam and B Seam Mine Plan maps (maps 119 & 120) within the permit <br />application need to be revised to show the proposed mining lay out and <br />sequence within the three additional lease areas. <br />VIII. Subsidence - Rules 2.05.6(6), 4.20 <br />Section III.A.S, of the permit application needs to be revised to <br />provide the following information: <br />~1. An inventory of all structures and renewable resource Lands <br />existing within and adjacent to the new lease areas. This would <br />''include such features as the county road, refuse haul road and mine <br />access road; any ponds, reservoirs, and drainages; and all mine-related <br />,facilities such as the overland conveyor, powerLine, and portion of the <br />~` waterline passing over panel RP-6. <br />~2. A description of the worst possible consequences which subsidence, <br />\lif it occurred, could have on each identified structure and renewable <br />resource land. <br />3. A determination of whether subsidence, if it occurred, could cause <br />material damage or diminution of reasonably foreseeable use of such <br />structures and renewable resource lands. <br />4. A brief description of subsidence related phenomena predicted to <br />occur within each of the additional lease areas. The subsidence <br />prediction informaton presently contained within the application should <br />be amended as necessary to reflect the re-orientation of the workings <br />and relocation of room & pillar and Longwall panels. Of specific <br />concern are the relocated room & pillar panels RP6 and RP7 which appear <br />to represent the thinnest overburden situation within the mine plan. <br />The applicant should specifically project the magnitude and nature of <br />subsidence anticipated to occur at the ground surface above those <br />panels. <br />
