The responses are presented in the same order as the <br />questions. <br />General Comments <br />1-4. No response required. <br />5. Page 2.05-21 has been further revised to state, "Because the mine site is steeply sloped, <br />benches have been or will be constructed and several areas have been designated for the storage <br />of materials and equipment. An access road loop will be constructed and will create an <br />approximately 3 2/3 acre storage bench..." <br />6. As were the relocated topsoil pile and the stack tubes bench, for. example, the earthwork <br />designs for the access road loop and materials storage bench should be placed in the Division's <br />bond files. The revised contours shown in these designs are provided in the permit on revised <br />Map 53. <br />No response required. <br />Veeetation. Soils and Wildlife <br />1. A survey of the additional area was conducted and is attached. The final report was not <br />available for the earlier submittal. As expected, no Grand Mesa penstemon were found. <br />
