With the
longwall equipment being threatened by the rising water levels, Oxbow requests a minor
revision to begin pumping from the mine through the original water infusion borehole and
discharge it through a new pond located along the river in NW1/4, SW1/4 Section 11,
T13S, R90W, Sixth P.M.
Oxbow has contracted the services of Mayo & Associates ("Mayo") to complete isotopic
and solute chemistry analyses, as well as the analysis of certain metals as suggested by
the Water Quality Control Division ("WQCD"). Mayo completed sampling and field
parameter measurements on Wednesday and Thursday last week. The results of these
in-mine sample analyses will be reported to you and WOCD as they become available.
The field parameters are provided in the table below.
~ Temp.
