Farrell
Mined Land Reclamation Division
July 17, 1985
Page Three
(5) C-SM-18 (78-116) (112 permit)
The disturbed area on this property is considerably under the
permitted acreage (14.90 acres) due to it being in the early
stages of development. To date, only one (1) of the vent holes
has been constructed. All the drill sites have been reclaimed
and seeded along with the vent site. Vegetation growth to date
has been excellent in this area.
(6) C-LP-21 (77-305) (112 permit)
The disturbed area on this property is under permitted
acreage (13.20 acres) as two permitted vent holes with
access roads have not been constructed. All drill sites
have been reclaimed and seeded and are showing good re-
vegetation results. The existing vent area disturbances
have been scarified and seeded. The permitted acres for the
other vent holes will be utilized sometime after production
resumes.
(7) C-LP-22A (78-214) (110 permit - Limited Impact)
The disturbed area on this property is under the permitted
acreage (6.4 acres) as the vent holes permitted have not
been constructed. All drill sites have been reclaimed
and seeded with the approved mixture. Sometime after
production resumes, the acreage permitted for the vent
holes may be utilized.
(8) C-CM-25 (77-307) (110 permit - Limited Impact)
The disturbed area on this property is under the permitted
acreage (7.34 acres) as the vent holes permitted have not
been constructed. The areas will be utilized sometime after
production is resumed and mine development resumes. All
drill sites on the property have been reclaimed and seeded
with the approved mixture.
(9) Bachelor (80-60)
Approval of this mine permit was received at the time when
Cotter was closing its active mines due to the adverse
uranium markets. Accordingly, none of the permitted
acreage has been disturbed. When a more favorable market
exists, Cotter will start developing this mine property.
All drill sites have been reclaimed and seeded with the
approved mixture.
