PAGE 3
JUNE 27, 1994
BARBARA PAVLIK
Comment 52: The flow off of the Typical Topsoil Pile will be handled through a porous rock
outlet structure.
Comment 54: Anew Certified map (Map 112) will reflect changes at the Slot Storage Area,
South and East Fill Slopes. The outflow from these areas will also be handled through
a porous rock outlet structure.
Comment 55: The run-off and sediment from the Degasification, Dewatering and other Drill
Hole Pads will be handled with a porous rock outlet structure at the base of the
surrounding berms. The berms also will serve to divert the upland slow away from the pad
areas.
Comment 56: The flow from the D-Portal topsoil pile will be directed to the DP-1 sediment
pond as originally designed. The Lay-down area near TS-1 was not originally modeled
for sediment control. Consequently, an SA.E. demonstration is included for this area.
Three copies of the following documents are enclosed for replacement or insertion.
Page II.B-8
Page II.C-85
Page II.C-87 (new page)
Page IV-22
Page IV-46 (SAE)
Page IV-47
Page V-7
Page V-34 (Table V-7)
Map 112
Map 147
Illustration 44 -Please insert the title page and the SA.E. demonstrations for the following
areas:
• East Portal Storage Pad Areas
• Water Storage Tank Area
• Explosives Magazine Area
• Alluvial Well Area
• Halandras Dump
• Overland Conveyor System
