They aze as
follows:
Phase I Mined Acres: 18 Total Acres: 22
Phase II Mined Acres: 11 acres Total Acres: 15
Phase III Mined Acres: 35 acres Total Acres: 40
The Phases and mining limits have also been clearly marked on the Mining Map.
The azea to be mined is indicated on the Mining Map by a heavy dashed line. The legend also
describes this area as mining limits. Mining will occur only within the interior of each of these
clearly marked areas.
The permit boundary along the south side of Phase III has been changed to reflect the original
permit boundary limit.
The ditch within ten feet of the mining limit of Phase II is owned by the property owner
Gossney. A compensation agreement is currently being obtained and will be forwarded to the
Division prior to any disturbance within 200 feet.
The divider between Phase I and Phase I[I will not be mined. This is a change from the
previously submitted application. Approximately 20 feet will separate the mining in Phase I and
Phase III and as such has been shown on the mining map.
Dewatering during the mining phases will occur through pipe that will be located above ground.
The pipeline will not affect haul roads or haul equipment. The pipelines will be removed during
reclamation.
The areas to be mined in each phase aze shown by dashed lines on the mining map.
The correct mining depth is as follows:
Phase I will be mined at a depth of 19 feet to an elevation depth of 6,738 feet.
Phase II will be mined at a depth of 25 feet to an elevation depth of 6,722 feet.
Phase III will be mined at a depth of 19 feet to an elevation depth of 6,738 feet.
The pond margins as shown on the most recent submitted map are correct.
The number of acres to be affected at one time is approximately 20 acres. Topsoil will be
salvaged and stored in the delineated stockpile areas as shown on the mining map. The stripping
depth of topsoil is approximately five to seven feet.
All areas that are mined will be reclaimed and used as reservoir storage.
