Those changes will allow the aurFaae warehouse and maintananee shops, the <br />main ofSca building and attached sating and shower facilities, as well as xhc sewage and potables <br />water systems to remain is the post mizling setting to be put ro industriaLcommtrcial use. The <br />Divisioa of Miaerals aad Geology (DMO) and the Mined Land Reclamation Soa ~d ~MLRB) <br />appredata the Coaunisaioner's efforts and input to the pending rcclarnation pcrmix amendment. I <br />am pleased to tt31 you that DMG will be racoxunteadittg approval o£the proposed post miaipg land <br />use changes at the mine site as supported by the Commisaioaer'a letter and resolution. <br />Iri addition to a number of letters of support fear the proposed parnxit amcndmtn; xhe DMG also <br />received two letters objecting to certain aspects of Hcaderson's proposals- A31 of the objections <br />mlate to the proposed changes to xhe reclamation plan < the Grand Cotuxty Henderson Mill <br />facilities, sad will hav¢ no affect on the proposal to allow certain buildings to remain at the mine <br />site is Clear Ctcctc County, Since objections to the permit amendmmt have been reserved, vht <br />DMG has acltcduled apre-hearing conference in accordance with the Mr R B rules and rogulatior[s_ <br />Enclosed with this memo is the conference notice aad a•'--..+ary of issues.
