This observation is based on the con- <br /> tiguity of the site with a cultivated field, the presence of a road, a power- <br /> line within the site boundaries, an oil pipeline within a few meters of the <br /> site, and the site's proximity to the old State Highway 13. <br /> Site St•1FG80, however, shows considerable potential for yielding infor- <br />-. mation important to prehistory and has been recommended for nomination to <br /> the National Register of Historic Places. It is our recommendation that the <br /> <br /> developer shall make every effort to avoid any damage to the site. The <br /> Empire Energy Corporation should be advised that, with regard to site 5t4F680, <br />, responsibility for indirect effects such.as vandalism or inadyertant damage <br /> or destruction-is that of the developer.
